One of the biggest stories of the day is Iran’s public broadcast of their hacking success in “The Spider’s Nest” operation right before the 12 day war began. According to Minister of Intelligence, Khatib, Iran has gained access to intelligence of:
- 189 Israeli nuclear and military specialists, including names, details, addresses, work relationships of these individuals, and related projects, and the list is still being completed
- details of sensitive dual-use military sites have been identified, and some of them were targeted by missile units during the 12-day war
- while Tehran was spying on Israel, they revealed that Israel was spying on the IAEA director
IRIB1, Iran’s state broadcaster, has released numerous pieces of intelligence stolen from Israel in the operation. The broadcasts showed:
- residence of Israeli Minister of War
- video from inside the Dimona Nuclear Site
- diagrams and information said to map the personal networks of Israeli nuclear scientists and industry staff
- dozens of images allegedly taken inside Israeli nuclear facilities were shown, along with what appeared to be passports of Israeli nuclear scientists and correspondence between Israel and the United States.
- top secret files related to Israeli nuclear program
According to Iran’s previous claims, they have a massive store of intelligence on both Israel, the United States and the IAEA.
