On October 15, CommandEleven started a new media venture with Sadia Sattar, Cross Border Lens with Sadia Sattar, to cover regional and domestic geopolitical events, breaking news on terrorism, and provide expert insight into the things that affect Pakistan that, in turn, affect the entire region and world.
The first episode dug into the current Pakistan vs. Taliban war that has broken out. The war started because, after 4 years, the Taliban refuses to dismantle the terror networks that are attacking Pakistan, whether they be in the form of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group (HGBG), the Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA), al Qaeda affilites, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), or any other paper tiger created by the previously mentioned.
An added piece to this puzzle is India’s financial, intelligence and military support for these groups. Pakistan has not only known, but presented numerous dossiers to international capitals of India’s involvement in spreading terrorism across Pakistan.
Many of these subjects were touched, but not discussed in detail because each one requires individual discussions, after the baseline is defined.
Due to a technical error in the broadcast, we were forced to run 2 separate sessions, that have been joined into the episode below.
This is the baseline.
