Let’s recall our memories of a speech of a senior Pak Army official that he delivered as the chief guest at a military educational institution in Rawalpindi on India’s Republic Day in 2014, asserting that India poses no greater threat to Pakistan but extremism/terrorism does.

The Eleven Commandments of CommandEleven are given below.

Thou shalt always be on the offensive.

Thou shalt always respect the chain of command.

Thou shalt control your environment.

Thou shalt know history. It always repeats. Always.

Thou shalt not ignore analysis. Intelligence comes from reading.

Thou shalt value thy team. Individuals are expendable.

Thou shalt keep learning. The more you know, the better your understanding.

Thy failure comes when you accept defeat.

Thou shalt trust no one.

Thou shalt never surrender.

Thou shalt never get caught.
