“Currently the most important thing concerning Pak-China relations is China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The Pakistan Army is responsible for the CPEC security and its management. Recently, the United States criticised Pakistan for its collaboration with China and asked it to stop working with the nation. The US Secretary of State even went as far as to say that, “[the US] would want Pakistan to review all the CPEC projects.” Pakistan strongly reacted to this and China supported its viewpoint. General Bajwa’s visit to Beijing is basically the reinforcement of Pakistan’s viewpoint on CPEC related matters.”
