Syed Khalid Muhammad
Syed Khalid Muhammad, Founder and Executive Director of CommandEleven, brings over three decades of leadership experience, guiding organizations globally in the realms of security, technology, marketing, and management.
From 1991-2013, he excelled in the technology and marketing sectors, deploying international enterprise resource planning tools, developing new methodologies and algorithms to refine complex data into software applications, and multi-faceted marketing campaigns for industries ranging from FMCGs to tech and financial sector.
In 2013, he authored “Agency Rules: Never an Easy Day at the Office,” a pioneering espionage novel “fictionalising” the after effects of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan on Pakistan. This novel holds historical significance as the first English-language espionage novel written by a Pakistani, achieving international bestseller status and is currently available on Amazon.
Since establishing CommandEleven in 2015, he has expanded his expertise to encompass analysis, risk, and threat assessment, and consultancy in the fields of terrorism, counter-intelligence, regional conflicts, geopolitics, cyber security and cognitive warfare, leveraging his on-ground battlefield experience against the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP).
He has successfully cultivated a comprehensive human and electronic intelligence network spanning from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Central Asian Republics (CAR), and the Indian subcontinent, providing CommandEleven with actionable, real-time intelligence that forms the foundation of its analytical endeavors.
He regularly appears on domestic and international TV channels, including al-Qahera, Russia Today, Pakistan Television, BOL News, and NeoNews, providing insightful analysis on politics, terrorism, national security and geopolitics. He has written for numerous domestic publications including Express Tribune, The Nation, and Hilal, the Pakistan Army’s own publication, on topics related to governance, politics, national security, military affairs and counter-terrorism.
Today, Khalid continues to diversify CommandEleven, working with numerous private organisations, publications, corporations and intelligence agencies, providing guidance and oversight on security, risk assessment, threat analysis and counter-terrorism. Additionally, he leads the consultancy team that provides corporate services to corporate clients in marketing, cyber security, risk management and strategic communications.
